The Yolo County Strategic Plan identifies the organization’s values, goals, and action plan to effectively track the County’s progress in serving our community. This working draft of the 2024-2028 Strategic Plan is a living document intended to be subject to periodic revision and update.

In 2023, a study was conducted to review the completion status of current County goals in the 2020-2024 Strategic Plan. The results showed that out of 287 total tactics, 215 are completed or in progress towards completion by 2024. This prompted the work of initiating a new Strategic Planning cycle.

2024-2028 Strategic Plan

The 2024-2028 Strategic Plan serves as a guiding document for Yolo County, fostering a unified perspective for organizational operations. The Yolo County Board of Supervisors formally adopted the 2024-2028 align goals and actions, establish policies, and prioritize funding and resources.
