The following volunteer opportunities are currently available:

• Docent: The County of Yolo is currently seeking volunteers to staff the Public Information Desk at the Health Department.  Duties will include greeting the public as they enter the building and assisting customers with finding the office or services they are seeking.  The volunteer in this position does an important job by helping to create a welcoming environment for all who visit the department on any matter of business.  The ideal volunteer will be people-oriented, friendly, and have good organizational skills. 

• Library Volunteer: The County of Yolo is currently seeking volunteers to support staff in the Central Services division of the Yolo County Library. Help is needed with tasks such as unpacking boxes, and processing material.  Previous library experience is not required.  This is a great opportunity for a volunteer that loves books!
