If your business is located in unincorporated Yolo County please apply online at Yolo Builds or fill out the Business License Application form.

For a home-based business in unincorporated Yolo County, please also complete the Supplemental form.

 

"Business" means any trade, manufacturer, profession, occupation or service of all and every kind, whether or not carried on for profit or for charitable, philanthropic, or other purposes, including the arrangement of business transactions, holding of sales or training meetings and administrative conferences, the receipt of customer or client payments and the keeping of records and accounts pertaining to a business.

Business License Renewal:

New Business License (Fees, Inspection, and Forms)

In general, a Business License not requiring a Fire Life Safety inspection or subject to other departments' fees is $315.64 (includes a technology fee of 6%) and expires the next year on January 31^st.

Businesses located in the Unincorporated Areas of Yolo County applying for a new business license, change of ownership, or change in occupancy use may be required to pay additional fees.
